This term at Saint Andrew’s Years 3 and 4 have been learning all about sound and hearing.
They have been finding the answers to some of these questions:
- How is sound produced?
- How is it received and processed?
- What are the different parts of the ear?
- How fast does sound travel?
- Why does sound travel faster through water than through air?
- What is the connection between vibration and musical pitch?
Do you know all the answers? Sometimes it’s a good idea to stop and think just how amazing a simple thing like ‘noise’ can be!
